عقار يقف على توسعة مطار بورتسودان
بعد لقائي بالامس مع مدير شركة مطارات السودان ومدير مطار بورتسودان الدولي بالامس قمت بزيارة ميدانية صباح اليوم لمطار بورتسودان استكمالاً لمهامي في متابعة اداء الجهاز التنفيذي، ورافقني في هذه الجولة السيد وزير المالية د. جبريل ابراهيم واخرون من وحدات تنفيذية مختلفة. حيث وقفت على سير تنفيذ المرحلة الاولى من الخطة التشغيلية للمطار.تشتمل المرحلة الثانية لخطة شركة مطارات السودان على توسعة مطار بورتسودان الدولي عبر انشاء صالتي مغادرة ووصول اضافيات وتوسعة موقف الطائرات.
وشملت الزيارة صالة الوصول والمغادرة ومدرج المطار والطريق الدائري حول المطار ومحطة توليد الكهرباء التي تم توفير عدد ٣ مولدات جديدة لها وغرفة الملاحة الجوية الى جانب مرافق اخرى، ووجهت بالاسراع في استكمال المرحلة الاولى من خطة التشغيل حتى يتسنى لنا الاستفادة اقتصادياً من فتح المجال الجوي الشرقي للطيران التجاري، بالاضافة الي الاسراع في توسعة موقف الطائرات وذلك لاستيعاب عدد اكبر من الرحلات اليومية.
Following my meeting yesterday with the director of the Sudan Airports Company and the director of Port Sudan International Airport yesterday, I made a field visit this morning to Port Sudan International Airport to complete my duties in following up the performance of the executive body. I was accompanied by The Minister of Finance, Dr. Gibreel Ibrahim and others from different executive units. Where I witnessed the progress in the implementation of the first phase of the airport’s operational plan. The second phase of the Sudan Airports Company’s plan includes the expansion of Port Sudan International Airport through the construction of additional departure and arrival halls and the expansion of the airplanes parking.
The visit included the arrival and departure hall, the airport runway, the ring road around the airport, the power station, for which 3 new generators were provided, the air navigation room, as well as other facilities. And I directed to expedite the completion of the first phase of the operating plan so that we can benefit economically from opening the eastern airspace for commercial aviation, in addition to accelerating the expansion of the aircraft stand in order to accommodate a greater number of daily flights.
